    Hi Dan
Looks like the guy is giving up on the set? I will say, this set would look just as good in an album and save a whole lotta PSA fees. Is anybody watching me? LOL

So, what's your thoughts? Still going to brave the set or are you "de-holderizing?"

Mike I am on the fence without a doubt. I have read where even Frank Smith hit a wall early on in his 75 set only to finish with quite a grand set........ I will be submitting 75 of the very best cards I could recently find. Alot of 10 potential in my critical eyes ....... if PSA says different, we will part ways image

The seller refers to "low pop" 1978 cards. I thought Topps stopped issuing in series as of 1974. Did Topps place some cards in sheets more often than others in '78?

jr, low pop meaning low number of PSA 9's graded in a particular card. Anyway, its bull%!#@ because only TWO of these cards in this auction are pops of 10 or under ....... VERY misleading info in that auction. Seller is bailing out without a doubt image

I have 200 + PSA 9's and recently have thought about selling and would be HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY with that starting price. And mine includes a sweet Molitor image

  • The price doesn't seem that steep to me. Even if grading fees INCLUDING all shipping costs to PSA average $10 per card your looking at getting the cards for FREE.

If this is a "tad" steep, then why bother with grading any 78s except for star cards that turn out as a 9 or 10?
