Looks like the guy is giving up on the set? I will say, this set would look just as good in an album and save a whole lotta PSA fees. Is anybody watching me? LOL
So, what's your thoughts? Still going to brave the set or are you "de-holderizing?"

<< <i>The seller refers to "low pop" 1978 cards. I thought Topps stopped issuing in series as of 1974. Did Topps place some cards in sheets more often than others in '78? >>
jr, low pop meaning low number of PSA 9's graded in a particular card. Anyway, its bull%!#@ because only TWO of these cards in this auction are pops of 10 or under ....... VERY misleading info in that auction. Seller is bailing out without a doubt
I have 200 + PSA 9's and recently have thought about selling and would be HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY with that starting price. And mine includes a sweet Molitor

If this is a "tad" steep, then why bother with grading any 78s except for star cards that turn out as a 9 or 10?

sometimes i feel this way when I look at my sets......but u get them graded due to people trimmingon ebay...however...who would trim 1978 commong cards? im ignorant on that i guess
