SGC and centering

How are SGC's standards on centering? I see a number of cards from the same seller that were graded by SGC at very high levels despite being clearly OC. One example:

    96 MINT 9: 60/40 or betting centering, sharp focus and four sharp corners*. A minor flaw may exist upon close examination. A minor flaw may be, but is not limited to: a slight nick to one corner, a small gloss break or surface scratch, a minor print line or minor refractor line, a minor focus or color imperfection, or a small print spot.

    That card does not look 60/40 to me. Maybe it is just my eyes. "a slight nick to one corner" can get a 96? Wouldn't PSA drop that down to an 8?

    they've tightened up a lot on centering in the last year. Prior to that their grading was pretty spot on if the centering isn't a factor.
