Scanner Question

I bought a new scanner. When I scan in a baseball card although the picture is somewhat sharp, it has a faint stripe-like pattern. Does anybody know what I am doing wrong?

What DPI are you saving it to? Try 150 and that may do it. Also, be sure to crop it too.

The funny pattern...was it on PSA holders or raw?

Joltinjoe, try turning on the DeScreen function. It should be somewhere in your scanner settings.

Should have different settings within the scanning software you use along with the scanner.. change the settings from color magazine.. color photo etc.. to see if it makes a difference.

If you can't figure it out on your own give tech support a phone call I'm sure they'll have it solved within 5min and probably register your product as well for warranty purposes.
