1957 Topps, complete set - loaded with PSA 7s - Mantle, Williams + now on ebay
I just put my '57 topps up for sale on ebay. It is currently tied for 32nd on the PSA set registry for Basic 1957. It is loaded with PSA 7 superstars - including Mantle plus a bunch more.
The listing on ebay contains all of the information - breakdown of graded cards and my estimate of the remaining raw cards. I really tried to be objective when providing an estimated grade of the raw cards. I wouldn't estimate anything over NM (PSA 7) even though there are a handful (5-10) cards that have a shot at going higher.
There is a reasonable reserve - if it doesn't sell I'll send in the rest of the cards that I think will grade NM (PSA 7) or better and then probably re-list the set with a higher reserve. My last resort would be to break the set up. It has been intact for 25 years - with only some upgrades made within the last couple years.
Any questions - contact me at lckynmber0310@yahoo.com .
Thanks - and I really enjoy reading this message board - you guys have taught me a lot - I learned a little to late about PRO graded cards - but it was a lesson I'll never forget!
