Is it worth entering a 2nd set of same year?

This was asked as an aside in the goals for 2004

Is it worth entering a 2nd set of the same year in the registry?

I've probably got close to a 2nd set of PSA graded 1967, but all the time to enter it,
any way that you would say it is "worth entering"?

1967and 1973 Topps baseball wantlists (any condition) welcome. Once had the #14 ATF 1967 set. Yet another collector like skylaneflyer, gimel1 who made it to the completion of 1967 only to need the money more than the company of 609 close friends.
Looking for oddball Norm Cash and Cleon Jones stuff, and 1956 team cards

    If nothing else, it would be a good way to keep track of which cards you have.
    Also, it could be handy to have them listed if you ever need to make an insurance claim.

    Plus you get the enjoyment of looking at your cards as you enter them into the registry. image

    I can't see that it would serve any purpose.

    Why are you holding onto those extra cards? Why not sell them and spend the proceeds on upgrading your current set, or on starting another?

    I agree with wolfbear. Additionally, registering the second set makes it much easier to offer those cards in trades or for sale.

    so yes, so you can send a whole spreadsheet to someone saying "any of these are for sale"

    so no, why waste your time writing that list if you could be setting up 609 (or 620) auctions

    List it. I agree with Wolfie and Nick. Although I beleive PSA frowns on addvertising on the Set Registry some guys label their second set "MY 1967 for trade set"
