Not that it is personally my business, but if you people are going to continually spam this place until the F'ing tumbleweeds roll through, you should at least put SPAM in the titles so people don't have to waste their time looking at your crap if they don't feel like buying from ebay...
I know some do and that's cool. They allow the friggin spam here and at least some have enough respect to know that Buy Sell Trade generally means buy sell trade your cards here, not on ebay and then ask us here to look at your auctions there... GET A FRIGGIN CLUE!!!

Since I put (spam) in my thread title I won't take your thread personally. I have followed spam threads on several occasions to ebay and personal sites and have found cards that I needed for my sets. So I will have to disagree with your thread, however, not your right to write it. I guess I should spend more time reading the Nolan Ryan thread or the Wheres Vargha thread, these are much more interesting and help the hobby move forward to new heights.

BTW, you may want to remove your" Friggin Clue" auctions from ebay... Everyone knows if they are yours, they are likely forgeries

Again, my request was simply to make the boards easier for the people who actually do their buying, trading and selling here as PSA likely intended IMO. Many don't come here to shop on ebay. If I'm looking to buy "on ebay", it usually seems like it would be more intelligent to go "to ebay". But, because some think it's necessary to continue to do so, I requested that they add the word spam or ebay in their title so that those of us who are actually looking to trade or even buy from someone here will know the difference between those posts and the ones where people aren't offering them for trade or sale here... It's a simple concept, likely to benefit all.

Looking for tough Game Used and Autos in Football and Baseball, expecially Phillies, Orioles, Redskins, Steelers, Eagles and Raiders.
I'm aware that many already have been doing what I was asking of them, but some do not. Some even offer to close the auction early of offer free shipping to forum members and that's cool. But I don't feel people should just have a post directing us to an auction on ebay when most of us are capable of finding that card on ebay ourselves if we are interested. As I said, most other forums I use do not allow this at all.
Some have a designated forum for ones ebay auctions, but some sites do not allow you to post your auctions at all. Xtrainningscards - you should remember when this forum used to really be busy with trading and site sales. When I talk to most of the old members on other sites, they no longer come here because the spam gets so bad at times. Maybe it's not bad right now in the range of numbers per day, but there are still quite a few auction listings on the first few pages. Further, I see some members bumping their own post when it's still on the first page. Guess it really doesn't matter in the end...

Yes, that was my sole intent. You caught me there, slyguy. Actually, if I were trying to "pump up my chest", I would have insisted that they do exactly what I say. Further, I might have added some possible consequences just to try to appear like I really meant business. On the other hand, I stated that people should put something in the title of their thread to indicate it was and auction. This would show a little respect to those of us who weren't looking to buy from ebay or to those who may not even be members on ebay.
In addition, I chose not to send him a PM simply because this still applied to others. I'm still trying to figure out why my post has bothered you so much. What's the problem with adding "ebay" or "spam" to your title? If someone is truly looking to buy, they will definitely look at your post. If they have no interest in buying, they will know that there is no need to open the thread.
In the end, you may have not liked the way I posted my suggestion but I'm not here to caress egos... Thus, grow some thicker skin. Have a nice day

You dont even have enough post's to defend anything you type.As look at the site now from what it used to be...it has gone to pot.They allow this CRAP on here where other sites dont.It's a wonder SM! & Carol haven't put a stop to this,but i dont have a clue as to why they haven't.This used to be THE place to trade.....now,it's a spammers heaven.So to those of you taking offense to someone flamming about the spam...good...cuz all your doing is spamming & ruining this place worse than it already is.
