...granted, I didn't read the fine print until I was ready to set my snipe, but STILL - as if the reserve isn't enough, he's got a $15.95 shipping and handling charge for one card. Linkydink

    yikes, card does deserve the ST qualifier. where this guy gets off asking for 15.95 for postage is beyond me.

    why not just put it up as a buy it now w/set price? MorrellMan you are 100 % correct this is not an auction.

    Hi,

    I am sure Ebay has a clause in its rules about overcharging on shipping. It has something to do with fee avoidance. For example you cannot sell a $100 item with a buy it now of $1 and then charge $99 for shipping because you will only pay the final value fee on the $1 instead of the 100%.

    Ebay has all the bases covered.

    saying that, I am not sure if that applies in this case since the guy has a reserve on it as well.

    looks like seller can take that card back to bed with him; reserve wasn't met and nobody's paying the shipping tab!
