Need money in Paypal. Trying to get rid of my sports card collection

Just LMK what you like off of my site and how much you'd pay for it/them. If paying by paypal, then I'll try to do a little better deal than if someone were to pay by check/MO.
want (in this order):
etopps
DVD's
video games & systems
CD's
Culpepper sportscards

  • LoL..youve been trying to sell your collection for what..the last 3 years?! spend some time and ebay em
  • I'd rather hold onto them, then to let a $200 Kobe go for like $20, then have to give ebay a % of the sale price AND pay a listing fee.

I think you'd be a lot more successful with prices listed instead of the 'make offer' stuff. I (for one) have always looked down on that...it's like the seller is trying to get the absolute most money possible...just wish they'd put prices up and let the buyers decide if they want to buy or not.

I think he was saying this in general. Or maybe he actually has a kobe that is actually worth $200.00 bv, thats not listed on his site.

Before you start running your mouth off, think about it....

  • ever since i 1st joined here he's been trying to "sell" his collection, and every year the cards get older and nobody wants em lol

First off Co1lector is a great trader. He's always traded fairly, and has shipped on time. Secondly, Epag64, where do you come off saying no one wants his cards? Obviously someone does, because I see a few posts above where people are saying they want his cards.... including myself. I geuss no one is interested in buying old cards...I Might as well get rid of these mantle's then....

  • First off epag is right... co1lector has been trying to sell the same cards for what seems to have been forever. He didn't say he was a bad trader... simply stated what appears to be a fact. Majority of co1lector's post are to sell his cards. Yet... it seems like none of them ever get dealt.

As for a $200 Kobe going for $2, how are you even going to say that? Unless of course it's a parallel/25. Which many are over priced by Beckett. Regardless... it'll get more than $2.

I never thought I'd see Griffey Jr.'s cards referred to as "old" ... I must have wandered down the wrong street here in CU! You kids play nice, now.

I never said that Epag said he was a bad trader. I was simply listing my experiences with Co1lector. Just because he doesnt sell them right away, doesnt mean someone wont buy them further down the road, which is exaclty why Co1lector and I are in the middle of a deal....

  • Cuse and Yan, make offers on each.

Btw, people want to offer me $10 for a $60 GU card of a HOF, and even though I want to sell the card, I'm not stupid enough to sell it that low. I know I'd have a better shot selling it for more when I actually have a chance to set up at a flea market.

Also, I let people make offers, since I'm trying to get out, because if I say $5, and someone's willing to pay $4 at the most, they may not bother "negotiating", but making offers...there is a better chance of negotiating on that.

  • I don't understand some of the people on here. A poster has very politely offered to sell some cards, and is willing to take offers on them from people on the board; however, some see this as a chance to come on here and bash his/her collection and say they are junk. If you are not interested simply not replying or saying no thank you is the best way to handle this. IMO coming on here to speak negatively about what co1lector is trying to sell is like telling a couple at church who want you to take their daughter out that she is a fat pig rather than saying no thank you - there is no need for either.

LOL - great analogy and hopefully some immature people on these boards will take your advice to heart.
