Brian has indicated that he has received at least one bonafide $2 million offer on the card.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
I just put down $750,000 (most of it a mortgage company's money) on a 2,200 sqft place on five acres, about sixty miles south of the home in the auction listing. I've got city light and mountain views, too.
That's just what homes like that go for in Northern California. The same house with the same views in, say, Utah, would probably not even go for 1/3 of that amount. But I wouldn't make the same amount of money in Utah that I do here, so it's all relative. Plus, good luck finding steady employment in my industry there.
Would I rather have bought a high grade Wagner for that kind of money, though? I suppose yes, but there just isn't enough room in the slab for the card AND a family of four to live!
What the hell does this have to do with sports cards? By now I'm pretty sure you've heard of the open forum, so I don't understand why you're posting this crap here?
