I'm not kidding! This comes straight from my website. You gotta admire his absolute lack of reference to the fact that the $300 item (worth about $50-75) can't be the one you're buying...

I'll write him when I get home, and eBay...

He ended it after I protested. I pasted his answer into a later thread entry.

Get him in trouble with eBay ... substitute some porn or something equally offensive. Let eBay pull his auction.

No need to stoop so low as using porn.

You can get his goat simply by replacing the image with a big sign that screams "I AM AN IMAGE THIEF AND A SCAM ARTIST!"

I've seen others use this vengeance, before, and it's funny as hell.

I would just rename your pictures on your site and then fix the html link so your webpage still looks the same. Then rename some horrible looking junk/conterfeit coins to the name of the original files this person is linking to, then report them to Ebay for selling counterfeit coins lol.

I wrote both the seller and eBay and the seller responded by sending me this:

<< I will do so immediately... I was researching the coin I have and came up with your website. I thought the enlarged photo was terrific and I was unaware that you would not allow the use of the photo and description. I did not try to change the pros as I thought that you would not mind if I gave credit to you for rthe bibliogrophy. >>

He's not a total louse; he did end the listing since he probably couldn't figure out how to get it out of the description. Actually, I'm not sure you can... Anyway, it definitely puts him in the clueless seller category as a best spin to his answer.

His scans of the coin looked like it was a better example than your images. But his images were not as good as yours.
