USA only auctions, good or bad?

I think these type of auctions eliminate a lot more bidders than the ones who accept PayPal only.

I never understood why sellers won't ship worlwide anyways. Global Priority is there for everyone and it only costs $5.

    No offense, but personally I hate filling out all the forms. I know too many people that have gotten screwed by sending overseas because they accept paypal, usually only on high dollar items. I usually don't even buy overseas, I've only done it a couple of times and I have only traded once overseas to you. To me, it's just a hassle because that just opens the door to even more bidders that might not end up paying.

    Filling out the forms? The only thing you might have to fill out is the custom's form. You simple mark the box "Gift" and put the value on it, surely that can't be that hard?
    Also, I occasionally sell on eBay and I've never had any problems with buyers from Japan, Taiwan or Europe. I've had only 2 NPB thus far (thank God) and they were both from the US. Of course this could've been pure coincidence but just shows that your last statement is completely false.

    Actually how can my last statement be completely false? All I said was opening up auctions worldwide also opens the door to more potential NPB. Meaning there would only have to be one person overseas that wouldn't pay to make that statement true, which of the millions of people, there always is one somewhere in the world that is new and doesn't pay. I didn't say they wouldn't pay, I just said it opens the door where that could happen basically.

    Keep in mind that when you say USA only, Canada is right above you. To mail to Canada often doesn't cost any more than the US.
    I'm in Canada, and when I see a US auction that I want, I email the seller who usually says "sure, I'll mail to Canada".

    Personally I hate selling on Ebay, so I make it the easiest I can, that is why I do limit my auctions to USA only. I won't even ship to canada due to problems I have had in the past.
