Since I'm pretty new to collecting I don't have the knowledge and experience with any Ebay coin sellers. I've made many purchases on ebay so I'm no stranger to the process...just wanted to pick everyone's brain and ask who some of your favorite sellers are...Who have you been the happiest with and why? Who consistently offers the best quality coins, most accurately described, not cleaned, trustworthy, etc?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Robin - I think you'll find that there are probably as many favorite sellers as there are collectors as most of us buy from specialists in our particular niche when we're seriously buying coins. Perhaps if you can narrow the field that interests you then you might get some better answers. For me, what I look for is honesty and no hype. Give me the straight scoop on a coin and I will tend to bid what I feel the coin is worth if I really want it.

    I'm primarily focusing on Morgans, Peace, Walking halves and Silver Eagles. Although there are MANY others that catch my eye, these are the most important to me.

    I have bought some great Morgans at great prices from bowmanscoins. I also have purchased some nice Morgans from centsles, again, at very good prices. Both usually start their auctions at .99 and no reserves, so if you catch them on a slow night, you can grab some great bargains. Also check the buy, sell, and trade (BS&T) forum here, you can find some great coins listed there. Happy hunting!~!~image

    Hey Robin,

    I really like to deal with other forum members as much as I can on eBay. Always feel pretty safe.

    Some of the eBay ID's are obvious and a few are not. There is a list around of ID's but was not able to find it quick. Maybe someone else could post a link to it.

    Dork...Thanks for the heads up on those sellers. I've written them down so I wont forget!

    Ron...That list would be GREAT to have. I agree, I'd love to deal with board members here if at all possible. If anyone can find a link to that list I'd really appreciate it.
