1955 Topps Billy Consolo goes for a new record price for a 55 common. Price was $2800.00. Any thoughts or views?

FYI..the gentlemen who won that card...is very rich.
Also...I should point out that in the past 2 weeks....a PSA 7 & GAI 7 sold on eBay.
The PSA 7 went for $139.02 & the GAI 7 went for $48.26.

Certainly an interesting opening bid price on the newest card given that one of the 2 major players on the original card now owns one.

Did you also see that the owner of the 2nd card bid on the 1st card?
