Look, we all buy them-I've got thirty years worth of these mint and proof sets-why stop now?

Or, here's another reason- you were the second place winner in my last giveaway but Compa who won hasn't pm'd me back with his address in over a week. In a few more days you will have the choice of the English hammered or the shipwreck coin, free!

Ebay is usually a good cure for that kind of mood. Just pick a country, find something cheap and cool and you will probably have saved money by not buying the mint set. Another example of spending alot of money in the quest to save money. Plus you get the 'gee I bought something how cool' mood for today PLUS the added bonus of the thrill of arrival when you can't quite remember what you bought from that guy in Norway (or wherever)--it's like an extra birthday
