Last I heard the talks with the Mets were off. First the Rangers asked for Jose Reyes and were denied. Then they tried to ask for Scott Kazmir, but were denied again and talks ended. Who's next on the trade request list, David Wright?

I just read today tyler yates. and another young pitcher forget his name. From what it sounds like the trigger will be pulled in about 7-10 days. I could be wrong which i hope i am!!! bc i have a feeling kazmir will be dealt bc some of the older guys leiter glavine piazza want this trade to happen.

The Mets would be wise to make this happen. Give up anyone (maybe even Reyes), Soriano is worth it. Plus, it would give the Mets some respect back in NY after not getting Guerrero like they should have.

The mets should not trade any of there young pitchers or Reyes for Soriano. Its hard to find good young pitchers. As long as there careful with them,1 or 2 should pan out. Hope they don't overwork them like Izzy and Paul Wilson.

Don't be surprised if Soriano ends up in a Dodger uniform. They have plenty of pitching available to trade.
