No its not the mini, but the UK cards that were produced to help explain Baseball to the European market. Although it was mass produced and sold all throughout the US too! ..jay
Jay is correct (as always). It is a UK Mini, also called Topps American Baseball.
Boggs, I'm surprised at your short term memory. I ripped open a few packs of these about a month ago and emailed you a scan and description of the Boggs card that I pulled out of one of the packs! You should have known what this was.
The cards are unofficially known as UK Minis. They are officially known as Topps American Baseball, as that is the SCD designation for the card. PSA slabbed some of those cards as UK Minis, but will now slab them as Topps American Baseball. That caused some confusion on the George Brett Registry at one time, but by removing the UK Mini cards from the Registry, PSA has corrected the problem.
The reason I asked was because I bought it thinking it was the UK Mini and wrote that on the submission form. It came back slabbed as "American Baseball". The Nolan Ryan Topps Player Set has a UK Mini entry, so I guess I need to let Carol know. Thanks for the insight guys!
Justin
