A couple of retail box breaks (Baseball).

I bought my second 2003 Bowman Heritage Retail (11 pack) box and got a number of rookies as usual and a Diamond Cuts Scott Rolen bat card (BV$15)...One pack of 2003 Pristine and got a Elizardo Ramirez RC/499 Uncommon Refractor, Troy Glaus Bomb Squad Uniform card (BV$15), and 2 more rookies...Also bought one of those 24 pack multi-brand boxes and got a 02 Fleer Tradtion Update NY's Finest Giambi insert (BV$8), 1999 Pacific Revolution Foul Pole Sosa insert (BV$25), 1998 Pacific Revolution Showstoppers Piazza insert (BV$10), and a 2000 Pacific Invincible Ticket To Stardom A.Rodriguez insert (BV$40)...Nothing major but fun busting some stuff while I wait for one of the stores to reload on DLP Rookies & Traded boxes.

DLP is awesome! I pulled a Weeks auto /25 the other day from a hobby box.

That Weeks is a sweet pull...I haven't pulled anything major yet but I like any retail product that gets an average of 1 auto (even if it is just a prospect auto worth $10) per box and 2 auto's and 2 game used per hobby product...I like Bowman Heritage this year (cheap product as well but nice gu ratio's and I've seen many auto's pulled from the 11 pack boxes) but would by far prefer the DLP boxes...I'll be getting a few of the hobby boxes once I get my funds settled back to the positive side of things (Think they'll still be selling them in 2010?)...I like the Pristine cards look (a more expensive Finest--in baseball anyway) but know the odds aren't in my favor that the packs I get will value much more if any than the cost...Some products you just like as a collector and some (The $100+ boxes) you like to see a more immediate return on.
