HAD A MARINO AUTO FOOTBALL REDEMPTION jOYCE GOT ME LIKE A YEAR AGO AND HAS BEEN SENT IN PROB THAT LONG AND I JUST NOW GET A PACKAGE FROM THEM IN THE MAIL. ITS A MANNING AUTO FULL JERSEY...... GRANTED ITS A NICE JERSEY BUT HES NOT WHO I COLLECT.... GRRRRRR
I CALLED THEM AND GAVE THEM HECK AND SAID THEY ARE SENDING SOMETHING TO MAKE IT UP TO ME..... PROB A FREE PACK. THEY SAID ALL THE MARINO AUTO FOOTBALLS WERE DAMAGED ...... PROB SOLD THEM TO SOMEONE ELSE

gee...I got a letter and a package from Upper Deck yesterday also. I had sent in an UD Authentics redemption card for a Troy Aikman Autograph Trading Card. I got a package yesterday with a letter that said quote "Based on the Poor Condition of the item you were initially to receive, we moved to replace your piece with this comparable item". Does that sound familiar to your letter?

The item that UD sent me instead of the Troy Aikman autographed Trading card was a Peyton Manning Autograph MLB BASEBALL!!

they just cant move any manning items so they have to pawn them onto us????

I'm completely serious. I could scan you a copy of the letter if you'd like. Gee....it's amazing that all their redemption items are in poor condition. What happened? Did their wherehouse get flooded or something? Or did they issued redemption cards and then be able to get the items from the players???

Mike, Marc sent in the redemp. for the marino auto fb too, and got the manning auto jersey as well. I would just ebay it and buy marino stuff with the cash.

sorry a manning auto is NOT comparable to a Marino auto. That is crazy and I would be on the phone
the second I opened that crap and would be cussing out the first person who picked up the phone!

You replace a Marino item with another Marino item...its that simple....a Manning baseball is a joke..I
would be ticked off!

If you stand for this now, then UD will think it is all right to do this!

Tewll them you would still want one of the damaged Marino Auto footballs (the Manning makes up for the damage)

Be happy you all at least got something from UD. We have been waiting since October 2002 for our 02-03 UD Top Shelf Hockey NHL Logo Rookie Card from this outfit.
Cussing at anyone there won't do anything to help, we know. The poor slobs that answer the phones there have NO power whatsoever to do anything except minimal computer entry. We had even been put in touch with one of the managers of hobby sales/service there & even with his so called "help" we still haven't received our card.
It's pretty sad when a manger can't even help; kind of shows us just how much in disaray UD actually is. He has put in at least 4 requests to that department & only once did we get something from them & it was a card from last years product.
We have boycotted purchasing ANY of UD products that have ANY redemptions in them at all. Thier hockey line is ok but we don't miss having to hassle with them for cards that are suppose to be ours.
All UD has done is SUCK the fun right out of collecting & we are surely NOT going to give them much, if any, our our hard earned money to a company that won't keep the promises made!

We encourage all of you to join us in the BOYCOTT of UD products. It's only fair that we hit them where it hurts most; thier bottom line.
After all, UD has hurt us collectors where it hurts most; by betraying our trust in them to deliver. If any other collector did what UD has done to so many of us they would make the BAD TRADER list on most any trade site & would even be banned from some! We are both sorry to hear of your problems you are having but we sure aren't surprised at all by them! Best of luck to you!

I just sent in 2 for auto's as well, maybe I'll be lucky and get them sometime next year, lol.......grrrrrrrrrrrr

Mikey,

TR and Beckett reports are the same....UD did not get a lot of the items they were expecting so they are sending out a lot of those Peyton Manning jerseys and balls. On the flip side to your situation, a lot of people who had Ron Dayne redemptions are really happy about now getting the Manning stuff instead.

Unfortunately, UD Customer Service is the worst and making demands like JS mentioned will probably get you no results. The reps could care less about your situation. Trust me....I have dealt with them numerous times. I would ask nicely for an autographed Marino card from one of their other products and see if they come through for you. Good luck.....hope it works out.

that sucks for you guys, i just got my MARINO auto football from an UD redemption,GEM MINT condition.

and i was surprised because the redemption i sent in was for a manning auto jersey
