Was that bidding series on the 1917 Lincoln in 6RD? If so, I was the internet bidder. I saw this happen as I was bidding and thought "What the he--!" I was the one that bid 2000 first. I think I got ripped for a hundred bucks.

Yes that was the coin.
So did you bid once or twice and they just changed your bid?

I had to bid twice. They didn't change my bid, but basically tossed it out after it had been accepted and gave that level bid to a floor bidder. I then had to bid again to win the lot.

US $ 1950 -- Auction House Floor
US $ 2000 -- Internet Bidder
US $ 1950 -- Auction House Floor
US $ 2000 -- Auction House Floor
US $ 2100 -- Internet Bidder
They really need to improve this system.

<< <i>You can check on eBay. They usually update right away. >>
Is it the same lot number that Bowers lists it as or does Ebay give it it's own number also?
