WTF is wrong with the morons on the Beckett message boards?

I know there is some fighting and arguing on all the message boards but I have never seen so many morons as I have encountered on the Beckett Message boards.

Thy do not like me and that is fine but now they have started making posts with my username in it and basially calling me dishonest.

Has anyone else had a problem with the Beckett message boards?

Just another reason of many why BeckettSucks I guess.

I don't know if I agree with your screen name, but I had it with the Beckett board and left it a while ago. There's just too much nonsense there.

Beckett sucks, and so does its message board. People depend on beckett too much in my opinion.

The only thing decent on beckett.com is the marketplace.

There are problems on any message board, but I would say there is more info on the beckett boards than
the psa boards. The baseball board is very informational...box breaks..etc.

Yep. Which is why I have over 1500+ posts there

. It's a discussion site and most of the people there just buy cases of stuff and let you know what to expect.

I still think the Beckett boards are a great resource for information about cards/boxes/Ebay (the best I've found so far). However, there are some people who like being jacka$$es like DAVID12869, smel1978, duzeswild, etc. that really bring the quality of hobby talk board down. I especially despise the spammers who violate Beckett rules and post their crap (SPAM) on the talk boards when the buy/sell and trade boards are only a few scrolls down.

Beckett message boards are by far the worst, I cannot believe some of the posts that are allowed on there. I don't mind them not liking me or agreeing with me but it seems like the same few users post and start trouble.

Please go back and read my posts on Beckett and you will see that I was very nice to people on there. I only started being mean to a select few who seem to always run their mouths and cause trouble not only for me but other users.

Again I will say that Beckett message boards hands down are the worse moderatered boards around.

Ok David, just to clear up a few things: I never said you were dishonest, I just said I thought you were an idiot and that I wouldn't buy from you if my life depended upon it. Can you post a link to any of my messages there where I said you were dishonest? I'll be waiting.

i'm with js and auto!!! i registered on beckett about two years ago but didn't start using their boards until the last month or so. i have already made more trades on there than i have in my whole time here. while there are many idiots on beckett.com, i have run across way more great traders there than here. one guy just sent me nearly $100 worth of cards i needed to complete my topps gallery set for free!!!

Its crazy. I cannot believe what they are doing over there and Beckett is allowing it.

Someone posted a porn link to a website I own and nothing has been done.

They have also made the following posts and nothing has been done.

In most cases you can tell when someone is a rip off artist. Most of the times kids think they
can just rip someone off and that is the end of it! It is very easy to find a person's phone
number from their address and even easier to fill out of mail fraud charge form on-line. There
are also a myriad of ways to get even! LOL

I really can't see any serious collector/dealer who doesn't have a scanner. You can get a nice
one for under 50 bucks now a days, Im sure used ones are even cheaper on ebay. I also
like how people show me scans of "their cards" and its an epix scan (stolen from ebay!)

I can't stress how important communication and references are, Ill admit people like Brees are rare....
he actully has some good trades posted here (myself included) but now eveyone knows not
to deal with anyone in Whitman Mass!

I suggest to eveyone that if you have a good trade to post it on the boards, that way if you need
ref checks on someone you just type in their user name and bang!

On high dollar stuff if you don't know the person you have to get scans and you have to insure....I
sent off a package to Quasar today and even though I know the guy and he is a great trader, I sent
it insured anyways because this just might be the one that the post office will lose or damage! You
have to send in a bubble mailer, envelopes get eaten by the machines...if you must send it like that
make sure you meter it and then put the sticker on it! If you arn't going to the post office to send
off cards then you are just throwing away your cards...they WILL get lost/stolen!

A "do not bend" stamp (3.99) is a must too and please no card savers...top loads with tape closure
or plastic cases taped work best.

Never underestimate the power of knowledge! You may think it is stupid info now but later
on you will be wiser for it! Lets get trading!

lol Since when do you only have to sell if the end price is more than what you paid? I never read that in the Ebay contract. I'm sure we have all sold cards for less than what we thought. That's what a reserve is for. Idiot

To not sell an auction because the bids are not high enough is insane. He should of had the common sense to place a reserve on his auctions. That is just wrong and if he got more alot more than what he paid for an auction would he refund money--of course not. I agree (IDIOT)
