TR sucks?

What just happened to that TR sucks post?

In a few ways I have to agree they do, I was also under the impression that all cards were given away to members for review or when reviewed by staff the cards were given away for contests.

This whole Jordan thing though doesn't see fair to me.

My only other complaint is how I was snubbed for best football card collection. I didn't even make the top 5 (the newman guy didnt think my collection was good enough) and was kinda surprised. It seems they picked more on if you saved a certain player.

Anyway I wanted to read the other 5 pages from the original posts and can't find them now.

beckett, no it doesnt...if you give it a try it is actaully a really good site, the owners keep members ivolved with contests and other things, very good site and very honest and great traders on it, dont listen to what shockers says, you can make some real great friends there too, give it a shot and ill gurantee you will like it

Have been a full member of TR since they were on MSN.

I always thought everyone got a chance to do a review at one point.

A good thing to do in my opinion would be to keep track who has done reviews and who hasn't and then rotate it so eventually everyone would get a chance.

Just a guess, but I'd say that the thread with more obscene language than a pool hall's bathroom wall kinda fell into the twilight zone.

Beckettsucks-This is what one TR staffer told me when I said they keep cards for themselves.

"well your opinions are full of holes an you need to keep BS like the sh*t i read to yourself. I give alotof my time and money to this site and its not for making money or getting free cards cause it does not happen and sh*t like what you said really pisses me off. "

He gives a lot of time and money to the site and he gets nothing out of it?

No one does anything for free.

i cant even get in TR it sucks ive been waiting a whole dang month and nothing has came from TR what is tr problem?? plmk cuz ive been trying to get in but i havent got to go in yet!!

First of all, a big thumbs up to the staff and mods of CU for getting rid of that other thread. I can understand being frustrated with a site, and can understand even being angry at being banned or not being accepted as a member. However, the things being said on the other post were completely ridiculous, laced with obscenities, and not proper for any public forum.

It seems to me that 99 percent of the people who have complaints about TR are either a.) people who have been banned from TR for unethical trading practices or using language that is not fitting for a public forum. or b.)people who have applied for membership and it is either taking longer than they feel is necessary, or they have been rejected. or c.) people who just gripe as a hobby.

To the people in category A I would say: You had a chance to be a member, and you blew it. It's funny that TR didn't suck so much when you applied for membership. Only after you abused the priviledge and were banned did TR start sucking.
To the people in category B I would say: Be patient! There is ONE person on TR who does all the background checks etc, and his plate is always full. Not everyone is granted membership. The staff of TR back up trades with a reimbursement policy. Therefor they are most careful to check the references of all who apply.
To the people in category C I would say: get another hobby, because what REALLY sucks is people who gripe all the time.

Please don't take this post the wrong way. I am in no way spamming for TR, or anything like that. I simply felt someone should set the record straight. And since the moderators on TR were specifically mentioned in that other post, I felt personally attacked. So there ya have the Rat's $.02

I have only had problem with one staffer.

I do not think I should have gotten banned for saying that the Staff gets free cards from the site.

But I cant do anything about it, and I moved on. There are better sites on the internet, one for sure called eBay.

TR sucks?
