I was high bidder on a Whitman silver Roosevelt dime album with coins recently on Ebay. While the coins are mostly circulated, all the coins have toned obverses. The reverses on the coins are just about all white, with a bit of spotty toning on a few. The album must have been stored in a damp area. Here are photos of four of the obverses:

    dude, that 56 is a beauty! probably worth the cost of the whole set right there!

    I've got several in my raw set of Roosey's that look like that 56. Anyone know what that might go for it, say, it graded only MS65? I'm just trying to get an idea of the value of the toning rather than the overall grade.

    EDIT: I just looked at my set. Seems I have about 5 (!) in there that "resembles" that 57. One is a 57-P for that matter. image
