Hi David: Rumors abound that there are more 1933 $20 Saints out there. In your travels have you ever seen one or know of one that you believe to be authentic?

    Bruce...I think this is one of the most important coins ever made. The history is phenominal. Check out how the gold recall of 1933 went down. The way FDR did the gold recall was beyond draconian. Add the controversy surrounding the coin...the years of pursuit by the Treasury Department, etc....and it's just a tremendous story. I simply love the coin, and as an owner of some fabulously rare, controversial coins yourself, I'm sure you could relate.

    To answer your question...others do exist.

    Yes, we now believe that over a dozen exist but only one is legal to own privately. A lot happened with the story over the last 22 years.
