This is interesting. Vermillion Ent. in FL buy price on junk is Spot minus $5.50 to walk away with a check. BUT he's testing out a deal in store only (for now) if you sell your junk to them in return for value in GOLD he will buy the junk at Minus $4.50. Hmmmm Europe must be really making sweet deals for junk.... I just might make the 2 hour trek there to snag two 1oz AGE's and visit my son at USF at the same time whoo hooo

blitz ... the math is too tough for you. Stay out and stay in your narrow lane. RGDS!

His buy/sell spreads are very reasonable.

He's a business man first. Not a collector. He knows what margin he needs to keep the lights on, employees paid, and make a slight profit all while keeping the transaction wheel spinning fast. Slight profits pile up when the register keeps flying open.. the dude is a model for what dealers should be. There are others out there who also have it figured out. That's a different conversation. This one is closest to me and why I follow very closely.

If I lived anywhere near Vermillion he'd be my go to and I'd have no junk in the trunk.

He kind of annoys me when he brags about how pre-33 gold he's burning.

Always looking for original, better date VF20-VF35 Barber quarters and halves, and a quality beer.

I get it. But he admittedly doesn't care and wears that business FIRST, SECOND, and LAST attitude on his sleeves.. I like that. He's 100% BUSINESS. He lives to make TRANSACTIONS at tight margins. Tight margins mean MANY transactions. He has no collector bone. Transaction, transaction, transaction. Like a never ending hamster wheel. BUSINESS MAN. A true "dealer". There are others. This one is closest to me. Good luck in finding yours. And go buy all the pre-33 gold that you can swing before he has to do what a business has to do.

I started buying American Gold Eagles when they first came out for a very simple reason - the premiums on pre-33 gold were too high, ridiculously high compared to AGEs. The market has a way of correcting things like unreasonable premiums.
