The Fall National Battlefield Coin Show™ will be September 11-12, 2026 with the show open to the public from 9am until 5pm on Friday, September 11, and from 9am-3 pm on Saturday, September 12. The show will open to Early Birds for $25 per person from noon-5pm on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Please check our website at: www.americascoinshows.com for dealers attending.

The show will be at the Eisenhower Hotel Ballroom, 2634 Emmitsburg Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325. If you cannot find the venue, please call me at 301-788-6232 and I'll provide you directions.
There is plenty of FREE parking, FREE admission and dealers will be glad to provide FREE appraisals on your coins.

The week before a show, up until the show I'm extremely busy
I answered your PM tonight.
The Gettysburg Show was a HUGE success! First, ajaan and his wife visited on Friday and Saturday. I have dealt with him since 1989 via mail order whenever I was in Hawaii and from the boards since. It was a pleasure to meet him and Kelly in person after almost 30 years! I wanted to introduce them to everybody, and I hope I did not embarrass them. I felt like a kid introducing my family.

Sales at the show was unimaginable! Many people who sell on WhatNot came in to purchase coins to sell. Those of you that know me, know I am loud sometimes. One young man was bringing in a medium empty plastic tote and I asked him if he was going to fill it with coins. He said he planned to and on Saturday, he had bought enough coins, sets, bullion and rolls to fill up 4 totes.

My philosophy is: "If there are customers at a dealer's table at closing, we do not close the doors until the sale is finished." One dealer had 3 gentlemen and a child at his table at 5pm on Friday and he wanted to know if I would let him finish the sale. Of course I did! Whenever the customers left at 6:05pm, they had spent $61,000!

Everything was selling! Gold bullion, silver bullion, Morgan dollars, collector coins, proof sets, mint sets, wheat cent rolls, foreign, and I do mean everything was selling. One dealer told me he brought 13 double row boxes of slabs and had sold all the slabs from 9 double row boxes. Another dealer said he was wiped out of all the gold he brought. An ancient dealer sold everything he brought on Friday. This was the most phenomenal show I have seen since the gold and silver runup of 1979-1980!

All the dealer tables were sold, and I had to put ANACS and the ANA Representative at tables in the hall. I did not have a dealer table at this show. I did purchase an 1872 5c in XF, an 1874 5c in XF and an 1875 in XF and ajaan gifted me an 1882 5c in ANACS VF for my Shield nickel book.

There were zero security problems at this show. Dirk, Keith, Steve and Fred did a wonderful job. The public only sees one in uniform, but there is at least one in plain clothes walking the floor at all times. This was Fred's first coin show and he really enjoyed it. He said he didn't comprehend the size of the show, the number of customers and the dollar amount of coins for sale.

As always, the food was standard hotel food. It was good, expensive and nothing to write about.

I was there yesterday from right after opening until about noon. Picked up a few things. I was surprised it wasn't busier. I always enjoy that show.

Attendance was down 11% and I noticed it was collectors who normally attend. But...sales were UP!
