Im not making any assumptions about "mix" or success rates. just trying to give other members data. Here was the box stamp. here is the result.
yes I have another sealed box with the same date. will I open it? probably not since the first one was already so successful. I also have 2 rolls with similar dates. those will be kept sealed as well.
maybe I just picked the right one of the 4. total luck. it works that way sometimes.

July 4th privy (sold) prices for raw coins have backed off into the $175-$225 range on eBay. Expected as new supply comes online. I think we will see continued declines this week as the first wave of retail orders is delivered.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.

I went through them with my daughter pretty quickly, I don't recall any looking proof like in the moment and the lighting wasn't great, so I will err on the side of bad lighting.

If it is the mint selling the wrapped/boxed rolls and bags, I would expect so. If it was bulk wrapping, probably not. I am guessing from the description that these are privy laden items. So... they could have fulfilled my pending backorder...

The bags I picked up are in the same boxes date stamped 7/30 and 7/31, so seems to be the same that we're sold via the website

They have not even fulfilled many of the processing orders. These should have been offered during the morning restock with the HHL still in place. It is totaly disgusting how the mint is handeling releases these days. After I buy the last rolls of Quarters to put away for the grand kids I am done with the mint. I have cancelled all my subscriptions.

The "backorder" issue is one we tried to discuss a few days ago. We usually think of that status as meaning that more coins needed to be struck or more packaging needed to sourced. A potential third option that I suggested was that coins needed to be shipped down to the fulfillment center.
The mint doesn't ship coins to customers so if some or all are sitting at the mint, those aren't ready to be shipped to customers. Are those coins then marked as backordered?
The mint obviously held back a quantity to sell at the show. It certainly seems unfair. Maybe the rest are on a truck headed for Texas

It makes no sense …. but then again who are we talking about. So, I am thinking that “backorder“ also does/did not mean truthfully sold out. Went down to my LCS and picked up some tubes for the now loose dollars. I did ask them to make an offer on a 4th of July and they offered $50. They justified it as they are nervous about how quickly the quarter market fell off. I did not sell, but figured a data point is worth something.

Why? Why should they not set aside some for a show, just because the show opened today rather than last Wednesday?
Coin shows have nothing to do with morning restocks. These were set aside exactly the same as ABPP product.

Sure Hope they have some bags at the Great American coin and collectibles show at the end of this month.
Unlikely. The "hot" new release for that show will be Supergirl. They don't hold back sold out items for a month to sell at shows, given that there is almost always something new in the pipeline to introduce at the show. OTOH, you'll be able to buy as many EU Morgan and Peace Dollars as you want.

As far as "optics" go, it's also bad optics to have a 5 minute sell out while having people able to buy at shows for hours. It is what it is. Unlike ABPP, anyone who is motivated can go to a show, stand in line, and buy a hot coin.

I placed my order 10 mins after they opened. 2 bags and 1 roll. Paid for overnight shipping. Still waiting. I spoke with the mint yesterday. I was advised that if they didn’t ship by Thursday I should call and get a refund for the shipping? Very disappointed and frustrated.

I got my 2 rolls and 2 bags today. My order was completed at 12:01 est. It was one of the first completed I believe. I got lucky and got in to order right at noon. I opened the two bags and decided to leave the rolls sealed in the box for a possible sale later. The boxes of the bags are shown below. In the first bag I found 6 privy coins and in the second I received 3 privy coins. I guess I got lucky. The times on the boxes are less than a minute apart and they are both dated 8/4/26. So I thought I'd share the info if anyone gets around to recording all the info shared on this thread. The coins are off to be graded in the morning. I have a bad feeling we will be seeing counterfeit examples flooding eBay soon so I want them graded in case this happens in the future! I have no idea what I am going to do with them at this point.
