Recently came across this coin and having trouble identifying it, I think it might be Korean, Vietnamese or Japanese? Just guessing, any help would be appreciated.

My general rule of thumb for telling Korean apart from other East Asian languages on coins: look for the circles. Chinese and Japanese characters (at least, the forms of those characters that are normally used on coinage) never have circles or ovals as part of the design of any of the characters. Korean characters often do. Vietnamese, of course, is normally written using a modified Western alphabet these days but their older coins use standard Chinese characters.
