PCGS: I WANT to give you money…

pruebaspruebas Posts: 5,234 ✭✭✭✭✭

But you are SO SLOW, and I refuse to send more coins until my current submissions have progressed.

One of my coins has spend more time in Newport Beach over the past 1.5 years than home.

Have you ever seen a company that leaves so much money on the table?

Take a deep breath and look at the bright side… the coin is not paying rent. It remains a challenge to stay on the Sunny Side of the Street when your coins spend more time in places you would rather be… I suspect there are parts of Newport Beach that I would no longer recognize.

I have a submission pending as well… which is waiting to be entered as it was dropped off at Baltimore over a month ago.

And now I am contemplating my next submission.

edited to add: Just to clarify my last statement- I am contemplating what to submit not where to direct the submission as it will go to PCGS.

I’m guessing these aren’t Morgan dollars?

I gave PCGS a SINGLE COIN on April 24th at the Chicago show for a reholder plus variety fix..they took it back to California. Three months later and it is still marked received. I have been among the first to call them several mornings in a row and enter my number into the queue..several mornings in a row I never got the promised call back. I emailed a rep about the issue in an unrelated chain of emails and got word back on one thing but they opted to ignore my inquiries about this order. Disappointed these days.

I think the reality of the situation is that it isn't that much money. The vast majority of the coins PCGS grades are bullion and US coins, not the coins we submit. If anything, the problem is that they are following the money.

I also think that grading +/- 10,000 coin order for Stacks takes precedence over us little guys.
