Big Spread of Buy/Sell Silver Bar

Two nights ago, I almost bought a "1 Kilo, 35oz" silver bar, but I noticed that the buy/sell spread was too big ($1996 vs. $1650).
If this spread is normal, I can only break even if the silver spot price jumps 18-20%. And this is too big a jump to overcome.
Does anyone notice the similar spread?
