I don't think there would be any crime more embarrassing to me than fraud or theft. Except anything hurting women or children I guess. Like I could forgive drugs and mental health episodes all day but when I know someone is a thief it's hard to dial that back.
The article says some were real so there is a chance he is a victim, too. I guess we won't really know for sure until the charges are resolved.
Imagine spending $38k on hundreds of silver bars but not $200 to get a magnet slide, scale, ping tester and some loupes...
