curious what the resident Eagles & Pats fans think about this one

    All I can find is some weird sites saying it's in process

    None of the major networks have said anything that I can see

    And 100% YES I want him in a Pats uniform

    Nothing definitive from what I can see.

    Brown is one of the best receivers in football, that is when he's not taking plays off. Without a doubt, he is now being shopped around, but the Eagles aren't going to give him away.

    Wouldn't bother me either way. However if I had to make a choice, I'd say get rid of him. Someone like him is always capable of getting precipitously worse in a short period of time.

    I heard several times that it won't or can't happen til after June or something because of $$$.
    I try not to pay attention to all these rumors.

    my goodness. this is Patriots related football we are talking about here. VERY serious stuff. if this keeps up i will need to schedule an appointment with my PCP to get some blood pressure meds prescribed.

    we have my health to think about here...

    now, i hear that the Patriots will be trading for AJ on June 2nd. baby step til June 2nd.

    when i created this thread, i had no idea what was going to transpire a couple of months later. none whatsoever. hadn't even heard a rumor of Brown potentially going to the Pats. but in an attempt to get everyone to bite, i came up with the most plausible april fool's joke i possibly could. and this scenario is what came to the forefront of my mind. two months later, voila. really quite trippy.

    and this begs the question

    why can't i ever have this type of foresight before i place a hefty wager ? 🤔

    ok, so this worked out really well. Is there any chance you can foresee a few trades for the red sox? perhaps Ohtani and Judge could be involved...

    AJ Brown and Romeo Doubs is a very nice receiving corps
