The right side gets more off centered as it goes down and top to bottom look 65/35 maybe? Just caught me off guard when I reviewing what cards to bid on. 67/33 maybe?
I was curious how PSA was going to grade ‘26 Heritage since so many I have handled straight out of the pack have corner flaws (chipping, white loss). They are starting to trickle in on Ebay now. Definitely not gem mint corners. I don’t get it…..Have to zoom in on top corners
Have to get a real opinion/sticker I guess.
Its hard to grade cards.
Nolan is a fake case( I would guess) I wish PSA would help us know what to look for.
At the time '72T Nolan got the PSA 8, that was the standard. Not so egregious, really. It was graded either in the 90s or early 2000s. Today, probs a 7.

Someone needs to make a website just for all the different cert and cases. I cant keep up.
There used to be a thread here years ago that one of the old veterans of this forum had posted, describing the variations of holders, labels, etc. from PSA inception. It would be useful now. I'll try a search for it.

Literally sitting here right now looking at a stack of 85 opc that look better than that card that I won’t submit because they will 7 or 8.
Maybe I’m thinking about this wrong and should launch them and pray for a break.
you don't have the same kind of pull as that submitter does when it comes to "good" grades
sgc 10 1989 topps baseball - Total 205 out of 4318 = 4.75%
PSA 10 1989 Topps baseball -- total 16,073 out of 53,402 = 30%
These numbers are totally out of control.
1) why would anyone send in that many 1989 Topps cards? Until recently none were worth a crap. The grading fees were probably worth more than all 10's except for a couple
2) The numbers are staggering. PSA butchered this entire set by giving out so many 10's probably all to 4sc. who else would waste there money sending in this junk.
3) Having reviewed some of the 1989 Topps Nolan Ryan PSA 10's, most are slanted. I doubt you can hardly get 9's on most of them now. and when reviewing the 1989 Topps set as a whole you will find the same thing. I went through 250 Bo Jackson's on COMC and found 5 that looked like 10 centering to me. This is more of the norm with this set.,
Here you are seeing why PSA is not giving out anymore 10's. They have issued thousands of bogus 10's in the past. Now they will not give you or me a 10, so that 4sc can enjoy the ride.
While there are plenty of SGC 10 cards in holders, especially the sgc 98 holders, they no where just unloaded thousands of 10's per year. If I were you I wouldn't waste my time buying a PSA 10 from 1989 Topps set. But i would certainly entertain buying a nice sgc 10.
Best advice: If you see a good 10, go for it. If it doesn't appeal to you, then don't. There. Problem solved. Loading up your brain with numbers and percentages is just dead weight. The obvious ploy is to examine a card and decide if it's truly worthy of its grade. There's no perfect solution for the fact that so many cards have been graded poorly, the pool is diluted and the buyers are delusional. Some of us know better. Be that person.

Here is an 8.
I'm honestly happy to see a 10 with a flaw or two. I think that's how it should be (especially if it's one of my subs!).
I see watcha mean. Speed grading strikes again.
I guessed 4 Sharp Corners before I saw below the card. Not surprised one bit.
Is the Population Report being polluted or diluted? Can't tell.
if it was cert 133783300 I would be a buyer at any price.

Do you know Who was the submitter?
It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)
Not even a minute do I buy the whole buh buh buh I'm a man-child japery - Me (2025)
HMMM?
It gets a bump for having a legit halo.

Cert font number looks off is it a legit grade?
I think it's ok, other than the vast allowance for crappy centering.
But the high cert number I thought was current not old?
Mid 00s most likely.

If the 72 Ryan had nine total numbers it would be recent but it has eight so old slab.
