Gold pilfered from overnight parcel

Offense: Lost/Stolen

Date: 5/01/26

Location: Transit LA to Dallas

A package sent UPS overnight from Louisiana to Dallas has been reported as lost/stolen.

The contents contained the following:

8- 1oz gold Krugerrands coins

2 -1oz gold Robinhood coins

60 - 1/10oz Platinum Eagle coins

Dealers in the DFW area and those attending the Texas Numismatic Association coin show this week should be on the lookout for persons or persons selling these type of coins in quantity.

    Don't believe UPS or FEDEX insurance will cover lost bullion. Hope sender has private insurance.

    Will they have a record of everyone that was supposed to handle this package (chain of custody)?

    nope, not insured. Even with USPS chain of custody only applies to registered mail.
