1980 Topps Baseball Cello packs question
I have seen many of the1981cello packs, both loosely wrapped and tightly wrapped. Were any of the 1980 baseball cellos loosely wrapped? I came across one while going through my collection, and I am almost certain it is legit, but just wanted confirmation. Thank you

Yes. 1980 had tight and loose wrap versions.
Thank you

1980 Topps came in both loosely wrapped and tightly wrapped cellos with collation flipped depending on the wrap (DEF/ABC for loosely wrapped packs and ABC/DEF for tightly wrapped packs). That is why Henderson from B sheet should only be found on top of a tightly wrapped 1980 cello.

Follow up question. It seems to me that the loosely wrapped cellos would be more desirable since the cards aren't compressed. Is that the case?
For ripping, yes, most definitely. For unopened collectors, at least imho, it's the opposite as the tightly wrapped cellos present better in most cases.
