Parking lot find

I spotted this amongst the windblown trash in the grass beside a Mexican restaurant parking lot. Needless to say, it grabbed my attention immediately.

“No WAY!”, I muttered.

Ha! OK, y’all had me there, for a sec. Best quality movie prop note I’ve seen.

Still a fun find.

Found what I thought was a 90's $20 a few years ago. Turned out to be a copy on the front, religious pamphlet on back for Tony Alamo.

    Still a fun find.

Happened to me once before when my cousin and I were walking back to his house from his local target. I found the prop bill on the side of the road, but it took us a bit longer to realize it wasn’t real. It’s a fun find but definitely a little bit of a disappointment!
(Although we still had a bit of fun with the bill afterwards! 😆)

Yeah, it was lying with the back side up. I fully expected to see a religious tract or ad printed on the other side. When I turned it over and saw Ben’s face and the regular design instead, my hopes rose for a second. Only to be dashed when I read the fine print. LOL

That's cool. I laughed when I saw this title associated with something besides a damaged coin and instead I found something fun. I'd like to find one of these, I've never even seen much less found one.

Yeah, it was in pristine condition, unlike most “road rash” coins found in parking lots.

I discovered a cloud of several TWENTIES flying around like a funnel cloud on this fairly busy intersection. I pulled over, dodged traffic & ran about, scooping up the green notes the best I could (despite the wind blowing around to thwart my efforts). Several got away. While standing/panting on the intersection median, a lady pulled up & yelled out the window, "there's a wallet back there!" So, dutifully, I retrieved the wallet & put the 10 bills into it. I spent about a half hour going through the wallet (no driver's license) & finally found the guy's gym membership (or some card ID), used the Yellow pages to get his # & called.

He came by to pick it up later. He said he left his wallet on the back of a pick-up truck (are you kidding me?!) but he looked so poor I'm glad I did the appropriate thing even though that was a day I won't forget (going from jubilation to deflated fatigue pretty darn quick!) He told me there was about $300 in the wallet so I guess I missed 5. He looked pretty crushed that it was only $200 (I had found) but I kept thinking (you're darn lucky I was there and am at least an honest guy who went out of my way to contact you!) If I wasn't in as good shape as I was, it would have been $60 or maybe $80 tops!
