SOLD 1961 PR68DCAM, PCGS w/CAC.

Pricing on this is tricky. The PCGS Price Guide has it at $1,100, and the CAC Price Guide has it at $1,050. But as we know, PCGS nor CAC can sell you one at those prices. Here’s what my pricing research has shown in the real world. But first:

There are 223 of these graded PR68DCAM (112 by PCGS and 111 by NGC). Of those 223, only 31 have a CAC sticker.
VERY few have come on the auction market. The most recent sale of PCGS w/CAC in this grade shown on the PCGS Auction Prices Realized was over four years ago, in November 2021 - DLRC $2,001.
Looking at GC, the most recent one was over five years ago, in November 2020, $2,720.

Apparently, the 31 with a CAC sticker are “deep in collector ‘s hands”. I paid $1,657 for this one!

My selling price is $1,495, including FedEx Priority Overnight, Signature Required, within the continental U.S., and not to a PO Box. If it has to go to a PO Box, it will have to be shipped USPS regular Priority Mail, Signature Required. This typically takes them three days or so. There are too many thefts of USPS Priority Express. If you want to pay via PayPal, add on 3.5%.
