Pitchers and catchers are reporting for duty this week

I am super excited as we will have baseball shortly. I will get the MLB package because where else can you watch baseball that cheap. To attend a baseball game you better bring a few Benjamins with you as game attendance throughout baseball are way out of my price range.

I like Caleb Durban as a replacement for Bregman at third base.

I'm looking forward to baseball as well

Durbin is solid and plays great defense. Fast, contact hitter... needs to develop power to stay in the lineup at 3rd. I was not impressed with Siegler, but I like Monasterio. He's above average at any position. Streaky hitter.

Between 5 foot 7 Durbin and IKF the Red Sox likely have the worst offensive infield in baseball.

Some guys wont be at spring training too long, WBC starts on March 5th

Altuve is 5'6" so while the height helps with torque, it's not necessary for success.

Altuve is also a second basemen not corner infielder and had several years of his career knowing what pitch was coming being protected by big time sluggers hitting behind him

He generates power with his compact swing is all I’m saying. Whatever. He sucks. You’re always right.

That addresed nothing and swings have nothing to do with height or power. Actual compact swings are slap hitters. Actual power comes from bat speed and and launch angle. Pitchers throw hard enough now they do most of the work anyways if you hit right.

But sure pick the exception, whose best years where when he knew the pitch and ignore position

You just stroll in predicting the future like a dope but then you completely redeem yourself by promoting a misunderstanding of physics.

Everybody has their own opinions on baseball. All I know is many old-timers like me love to pass our remaining days watching the games!

I dont really get that one from his his end. 13 million with 11 million deferred and payments dont start till 2030 on the deferrals. I get the AL is down overall but just go hang out with his wife Kate Upton more or take a low contract with a WS favorite

He is going back to his roots where he started. He already has more money than he can ever possibly spend!

From what I have read there is a looming possibility of a strike next season over a salary cap. Hope this is not a distraction to the upcoming season.

I think it would be called an owners lockout instead of a strike. No reason for a players strike, they’ve got what they want right now.

Folks…… let’s don’t forget to stock up on our Bobby Witt Jr. rookie cards before it’s too late. 🥳

For sure and Upton has money too. but pitching in that cold ass weather will feel a lot different at 43 than 23. If he was willing to take a contract like that trying to get another ring he should have went to the Dodgers or something like that

Sweet card! I’ve seen worse autographs but I have heard a few comments that this is what it spells……. Butt. 😂🥳

The lockout will almost certainly happen. Unless theyve made progress that no one knows about publicly the players and owners are pretty far apart on some key issues
