Congrats! I don’t think 22% is going to scare many buyers of special coins in this range of the collecting universe.

    Very nice.

I had some consignments of cap&rays 8 reales in heritage latest Mexican showcase

I’m wondering if demand from Chinese collectors is coming back as the prices sold were decent .

The Chinese stock market was strong last year.

Many of those coins were scarce anyways.

    Wow, I think that's a great result.
    I'm very happy for you!

In the past I've been an bidder for the type but always found myself behind the curve with respect to where the price of these Klippe types would settle. Now it seems, if this price trend continues, they will have moved beyond my reach.

With that thought in mind, it makes me thankful for the the small collection of Spanish Colonial that I have been able to cobble together as that market, and market for Latin American coinage in general, has gained a lot of traction over the past eight years, give or take.

From my limited experience it feels to me as if that increased appreciation happened slowly at first and then, what seemed like only a few blinks of the eye later - say post 2022, this area of numismatics saw a surge in interest and and of course the pricing followed.
