A local coin shop had silver at less than $7.50 per ounce.

Unfortunately, only about two and a quarter ounces at that price.

I saw this set in the case and thought it was neat.
Charleston South Carolina Bicentennial (1976) 5-piece medal set.
I supposed that it was only silver plated (at best), but it would still be worth the $15 asking price.
When I got home with it, I checked the edges.

So the set contains a total of 75.15 grams of .925 fine Sterling silver, for a net pure silver content of 2.24 troy ozs.
