If I was fabricating .999 I would mark it as such. Any examples of what your are referring to?
Governments can print currency. Only the people can print faith in it — and they’re running low on ink.
there are the modern peace and morgans, then there are the newer 999 silver commemorative dollars
may as well ask:
if anyone knows about buyers of modern 90% commemorative silver dollars and gold counterparts
Good question...I've got a few handfuls of the 90% modern commems, as well as blue/brown Ikes (40%), that I would like to get rid of for the storage space as I downsize a few things.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Guy called yesterday in shop with large hand melted bar, told him I would not buy until refined because i did not know what it consisted of. (purity)
anyone else got an idea or three?
anyone else?
Krause Publications issued a large number of unmarked .999 silver one ounce medals during the period up to about 2007. Most were struck by Silvertowne. (They also issued many marked medals during this same period, also by Silvertowne) In retrospect, they should have marked all of the medals as .999 silver, one ounce.
The spot price can go to the moon and it won’t matter if there are no buyers. I just got off the phone with someone local who isn’t buying, he’s got 90% he can’t move up.

There is plenty of buying going on. Every legit shop I follow reports almost and even 50/50 split of buyers and sellers.
COPPER is gutter !

I’ve been buying up modern 90% and .999 for below spot. Most of it traded for decent premiums before the run up. Prices basically the same as prior to the run up so, downside risk is low.
