Has anyone heard that the Trump administration is thinking of eliminating cap gains tax on bullion?

I have only heard mention of this once, but is there anything to it?

I knew it would happen.

Not sure why he would do that unless the Trump Organization has strong exposure to PM's. I don't see why Congress
would pass such a bill. To the average guy who is trying to diversify their exposure a bit with a 5-10% stake, it makes perfect sense. 99% of Americans don't own any gold and you would think they've been taught to believe that "gold bugs" are one of the evils that's keeping everyone from have a stable and more predictable economy.

I've heard more than once that the Commerce Secretary owns interest in Tether, which is accumulating physical gold from the profits on its stablecoin.

Several states have eliminated capital gains tax on precious metals already.

In addition, there is talk of a 50-year convertible gold bond that might be issued in 2026.

These rumblings are happening while the BRICS are de-dollarizing in favor of gold as a reserve asset.

    Is that changing? Yet?
