Here is my lone win...but it is an iconic card in my run ('33 Goudey Ruth #144, '33 Goudey Gehrig #92, '41 Play Ball DiMaggio, '41 Play Ball Ted Williams, '48 Leaf Jackie Rookie, '51 Bowman Mantle Rookie, and now a '51 Bowman Mays Rookie). The Mays RC was probably the most difficult of the eight (8) iconic cards to find fairly nice...and very happy to add it to my collection.

Prices were strong on cards that I was tracking...as well as a few records for the grade.
1933 Goudey Ruth #53 PSA-5 $77,000...previous record $58,000
1933 Goudey Gehrig #92 PSA-6 $25,800...previous record $25,200
1933 Goudey Gehrig #160 PSA-7 (MBA-Gold) $61,500...previous record $38,400
1933 Goudey Ruth #181 PSA-7 $83,000...previous record $72,000
1949 Bowman Paige PSA-4 $6800...tied record at $6800
1955 Topps Aaron PSA-8.5 $23,400...previous record $12,000 (paid by me in November 2023)
1956 Mantle PSA-8.5 $56,500...previous record $35,000
1958 World Series Batting Foes PSA-8 (MBA-Gold) $13,500...previous record $7500
1963 Mantle PSA-8.5 $20,250...previous record $18,800 (bought mine from Jeff Foy at $6700)
1964 Rose PSA-9 $70,750...previous record $63,800
1965 Morgan Rookie PSA-9 $15,375...previous record $8700 ( bought mine from 4 SC as an PSA 8.5, bumped it to a PSA-9 at $665!)
1966 Mantle PSA-9 $33,200...previous record $28,000
1967 Rose PSA-9 $6800...previous record $5650
1971 Rose PSA-9 $64,600...previous record $25,500
Anyone else have winnings or eye-catching prices and/or how unopened did?

Congrats on the 51 Mays Monte. Very nice pick up.
Basicaly the same price as a 1976 football cello box. Once in a lifetime buy I feel. Not sure if I’ve seen another one or just a photo. But I think it’s really cool and rare. I want to figure out if it only has 1 1951 all star or possibly more in the pack. It says 16 cards total on the wrapper and It looked like rea thought it meant 16 1951 red backs. I wonder why they would not up up the advertisement and say 17 cards on the wrapper which includes the all star card in the count. Or even numbers are the 6 red back panels(12cards)4 all stars making 16. That would be awesome. I’m guessing its 8 panels and 1 all star card which is still awesome. Or possibly 2 all stars to keep it in twos like the red backs.? But 7 panels makes more sense 14 red backs and 2 all stars making 16. I’m hoping it has one hidden 1951 all star card(Ruth Gehrig??) awesome. I’m gona get a digital scale and weight the options.
Why not ask Steve at BBCE, as he is the one who authenticated and wrapped it?
Awesome winning guys. I bid on over 100 items and won only two. Prices have one nuts! My only win of note:

Late 60's and early to mid 70's non-sports
Mike…
Nice killer Doubleheader!
Handyman….
Very cool, rare cello? pack! I’ve never seen one before…
Also this and a few other random packs. Indians silk Set.
Thought this was interesting and will add to my buffalo nickle collection. This dates 1912 and the nickles are 1913-38 Might try and put it on the outside case.
Very nice!
I have never followed the doublehead cards at all. The killebrew is awesome. what a find.
the 1971 Rose really jumped. That should or will be a $100,000 card very soon. Heck it's hard to find a nice centered 6.
I won a 58 football cello. Prices on some of the unopened from the 70s and 80s was crazy high, like the 83 bb rack box. There were a few deals to be had, as there were 3 major auctions that ended this weekend(REA, BBCE and Lelands). Vintage singles and unopened overall were strong however!
Looking for 1960 to 1989 Unopened Football cellos with Oakland Raiders on top or back of any packs as well.
Group break!

Ohhhhh you only want to open mine? I see how it is.
How much did the 83 Topps BB Rack box sell for?
$4800 and it even was noted the packs had price stickers.
The 83s unopened have really been climbing lately.
I was at a card show over the weekend and a dealer set up a table and only had 1983 rack packs. He had a sign for $50 each rack pack. A guy came in and bought all 100 packs at $40 each and the dealer went home.
I heard a different story. Some really smart handsome guy with the name handy dared him to open them. He did and went home with 4 Tony’s , 3 rynes and left the rest on the table. I also heard there was a small trail of tears ending where is car was parked.
Was this from a sealed case? Jesus if not I should sell mine. $4,800 can buy a 79 Smith and 80 Henderson both in PSA 9 condition. You can get a 57 Brooks or Frank Robinson rookie in PSA 8 condition. Or ample different Mantles in PSA 8. That price seems insane especially if its not from a sealed case which makes the chances of one of the big three on the front of a rack very low.
Agree.
The lesson here is never open your own supply. dealer who had the 100 packs never learned anything I guess.pretty sure he bought it. . I’ll tell him yours could have 10s. he should be calling you In like 2 min.
If not from a confirmed sealed case then the buyer is a Rube or a conversely is someone who didn't care and he will unload them to rubes. Either way there is a Rube afoot.

Just a table filled with 100 1983 racks out in the open. No price stickers and none of the big three showing.
From what they're even priced on Ebay that's not a bad price for them. I have about 45/50 of the grocery rack packs and I'm just letting them sit...
Thank you
The buying group is back.

even one 83 topps 36 pack box went for 1,000
No price too high. Let’s go pump-it-uppers.
Ok one sec let me get a pen and paper.
Buyers group is back? Good to know. I’ll step back.
Pwcc stickers are an old thing?
New mba stickers are the new thing?
Pokémon is the only thing grading machines care about.
Let me know what else I should add.
You forgot about Joe

The unopened 1951 Red Back pack came from the 2024 Leland's Classics auction in October 2024. They had 10 of them. I had never seen them before either. That was the only pack that had the All Star card showing. They were actually sent out for grading but the PSA holder tore the cellophane on 2 of the packs so they sent them to BBCE for encapsulation instead. I bought the pack with the Monte Irvin Rookie showing. I have debated opening it to see what else it contained but have not pulled the trigger. I asked Leland's to keep me posted if they heard of one of the buyers ripping the pack but no response so far.
