Sort of Sorted

Well it been a year and I have finally taken the time to sort out all my coins … phew
I also bought a digital microscope and was pleased to already find some value in the obsession. As I browse these posts and such I see so many nice coins It is almost intimidating to continue on my mission but caution to the wind Does anyone have any specific coins they are ISO … please be reasonable… I didn’t come here to have my feed flooded with outlandish comments. I am just a sailor girl that’s needs to fatten the sailing stash before I throw off the docklines. I am giving myself 1 year to reduce these accumulated coins to one folder of personal keepsakes. Thanks in Advance

Is that you personally or have you been elected to speak for all the members?

Welcome to the coin forum. We have a buy, sell, trade forum (BST) here if you want to sell off some of your coins. :)

    I concur.

Welcome. What kind of coins do you have? I'm sure we all have specific coins we are looking for, but there are so many different areas of numismatics and most collectors specialize in one or maybe a couple small areas. For instance, right now I'm looking for a 1785 Nova Constellatio 4-D, I've seen several out there but looking for the right one.

This may be the most useless thread on the forum. It's not even fun like some of the trolling threads.

Sailor girl, just in case you are being sincere:
    1. This should be on the Buy, Sell Trade forum.
    2. You may think you have a lot of coins, but they represent less than 1% of all types out there. So, asking for random ISO's is useless.
    3. Internet transactions require trust in the trading partner. With no track record and coming off as, at best, a complete newbie, no one is going to want to trade with you unless you can convince them of your bona fides. You would be much better served on eBay where the eBay guarantees give people more confidence in the transaction.

Good luck. But please post solicitations only on the BST forum

All comments reflect the opinion of the author, even when irrefutably accurate.

Yes, IkesT has been chosen to represent us in all non legal matters. I'm sorry, but his judgement is final.

@dreadedsailorgirl . There is a time, a place, a season for all things. On this site, as mentioned, there is a Buy Sell Trade section. There is no harm in making a simple mistake. I have made a great many in my life. There is also no harm in being ignorant of the rules but do feel free to check them out and make a second attempt in the proper place. Good luck in all things. james

If dreadedsailorgirl has a coin that I'm interested in at a fair price, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. Of course, I would send payment only after the coin is received and examined.

Just what sort of "valuable" coins have you found? Photos?

    Sort of sordid.
