Anyone accept an offer from PSA on a card?

Sent in some cards for grading. Grades came in. YES, PSA obliterated me.

I got an offer on a couple of cards. If the offer is for $125.00, how much do I actually get?

Do they just put the money on my debi/credit card?

I know it costs around 20% to sell on ebay and I factor that in.

Thanks in advance.

you get what they offer...nothing is taken out...of course PSA isn't actually buying the cards...they are just the middle man between you and large repackers/buyers

I've been getting crushed also. Question....What is to stop ANY grading company from "under grading" your card as a 9, offering money (which you accept)....and then they keep it, re-holder it (properly?) as a 10...and re-sell it themselves on their own platform?...Hopefully I am way off base here...Seems like a potential huge conflict of interest...

It is a plausible from both technical and conflict of interest standpoints. Also borders on impossible to prove thus proving its at least plausible.

    Conflict of interest aside.

What does one net on an offer from them?

Sent a card in for a buddy of mine and he asked me. Since this is new to me, I thought I would find out here.

I did get an offer on a PSA 10 card, about 80% of the last ebay sale.

Thought it might be easier than listing it myself and not getting much more in the end.

The offer I got was on a 10.

I think you get the full offer price if I'm not mistaken.

Does anyone know for sure if there are any fees?

I got an offer on a "10" McGriff rookie that would be close to what they go for on ebay less the selling fees and shipping costs. For the few dollars I would "lose" it would be worth it.

General Question is for all :)

From both Buyer and Seller standpoints what are the protections compared to eBay?

question about PSA offers. can anyone make an offer? where do people see the cards to make an offer on?

Is this offer feature only open to large companies or can anyone have access?
