Inadvertently started a Bison herd! OOPS...

Good morning friends! I posted this as a reply in another thread, but thought it was idiotic enough to warrant it's own thread, so here goes...

I didn't mention it earlier because I thought I had bartered it off in a trade deal, BUT...

I actually have TWO Bison notes that I bought simultaneously - one from Stacks Bowers, and the other from Heritage! :D

I didn't count on winning both of them but I managed to pull it off! Hahaha! So, now I am the proud new owner of not one Bison, but two of them so I guess I inadvertently started a "herd". One of them is a PMG25 with "Small Tears" comment, and the other is a PMG25EPQ! A rather rare grade for any paper currency (please correct me if I'm wrong), and here they both are side by side.



This has to be one of the most fortuitous goof ups that I have ever made in my numismatic life, because not only did I win both of them simultaneously, but both were won in absentia on static lowball bids that I had placed on each of them in a "Hail Mary" hoping to snag ONE of them!

I don't mind divulging what ended up paying either; the hammer price of the first note (PMG25 w/comment) hammered $1,100 and $1,320 with BP from Heritage.
The second note (PMG25EPQ) hammered $1,500 and $1,800 with BP from Stacks Bowers.
