Modern BB Collectors - Are Downtowns and Kabooms a thing in modern baseball?

ndleondleo Posts: 4,201 ✭✭✭✭✭

I am mainly a football collector so I don't keep up that much on the modern baseball market. However I never took Panini baseball products seriousily because of the airbrushed logos.

Are baseball collectors chasing the Downtowns and Kabooms as well? Even without the logos, is there crazy demand like there is in football?

The reason I ask, is that I saw some 2022 Baseball Kabooms and was surprised how well they look even without the logo.

not a clue. I dont really actively pursue anything much past 2007 or so. Their popularity does surprise me though. perhaps it is the crossover of sorts between sports cards and comics/animae?

Um no. I’m not a modern collector but I did stay in a holiday inn express and they take kabooms as a form of payment. So yes. Buy more modern!
Honestly no clue but if it sells for more than .01 I’d guess people like them. To many products for me to follow. Pre 1980 topps is my jam and please tell people to not buy pre 1980. Ty

Kids. And capricious adults. The manufacturers love ‘em.
