PSA Submission Question
Some background to my question. I have a touch of OCD. I really like having my PC in a PSA slab, but I can't stand it if it doesn't say GEM MT 10 on the label. I honestly hate this about myself sometimes. I wish it weren't like that for me. For example, my son and I won a BGS 9.5 2015 Trout A&G /25 auto. He is very attached to it because we won it and will not let me try to convert to the 10 with PSA. It's fine, I'll live, and I am mostly happy he has an attachment to it because that's what it's all about but having a 9.5 in our PC is tough for me. LOL. It's the only non 10 in the PC. Not to mention, it's the only BGS card we have.
I thoroughly pre-grade all my submissions before sending in and I have a pretty good hit rate. At least, I think I do. I have a centering tool, tabletop magnification, 30x loupe, etc. That said, I still get the occasional 9, which absolutely drives me up the wall. I am not upset with the grader or PSA or anything, just bothered by the card missing the 10.
So, to the question. I could live with the card with no grade and just being authenticated. No auto grade, no card grade, just authenticated and in a slab. Is there a way to submit with a minimum grade of 10 and if it misses the 10, just have it authenticated? I am about to turn in a big submission and part of it is a 1st Bowman Junior Caminero Auto Refractor. (side note, I think he is one of the best buys in all of baseball right now) This card could go either way. Definitely not worse than a 9 and if things fall my way it'll gem.
Thank you!

Welcome to the boards!
We have a lot in common. I'm not sure if PSA will authenticate your card if you ask for a minimum grade of 10, and it doesn't get a 10.
I kind of doubt it.
Send it in and hope for the best!
Good luck!
