I went 5/8 on a Capped Bust Half + Grade Reconsideration Submission

Very VERY happy with the results of my most recent submission, these coins really deserve a plus !
First up:
1810 o.102a AU53+ CAC
1811 o.110a AU55+ CAC
1814/3 o.101a AU50+ CAC
1826 o.118a AU55+ CAC
1835 o.107 AU55+ CAC
Now for the failures, tell my why you think they did not deserve the coveted plus grade:
This one truly stumped me and I will be resubmitting it:
1803 o.103 XF45 CAC
1820/19 o.102 AU55 CAC
1824/4 o.109 AU55
Thanks for viewing ! None of these coins are for sale !

Am confused why you didn't go 7/8 at least. The 1803 half seems a bit dark to me, but that might just be the lighting. Very nice coins though!
Proud follower of Christ!
That's a damn good batting average Ethan! Lovely coins helps with that though!
TV's are tough, of course, but I'm a little surprised the 35-107 got it and the 24-109 did not. The 03-103 and 20-102 don't surprise me as much. Again, just going off TV's.
Also, love that 14/3 if you ever upgrade.

In hand I promise the 1803 is not dark, in my opinion it is also an AU50, sorry for the bad quality photos they are screenshots from a video which I will also post the link to.
Here is the video of it : https://www.youtube.com/shorts/E1t_c_n8u34

Maybe they penalized you for the stars on the 1803. Otherwise I can't fathom this not being top drawer. James
What a stunning array of attractively toned Bust halves!

Great coins and awesome work on your submission! Very impressive results. Can’t pull that many plus grades by accident! You know your series, sir.
Congrats.
Nice group

Very nice coins. Aesthetics are subjective though a grading service needs to consider in the age of almost universal sharing by collectors of their booty and bragging rights that overgrading could reflect back on them.
First, all are gorgeous coins. Love that ‘03 DBH.
Second, I too like the notion of upgrading to a + grade, but if your coin is CAC’d doesn’t that mean you then have to have a brand new evaluation by CAC, which may in turn fail at the new + grade?
Personally, I’d rather not chance losing the sticker by obtaining a higher slab grade. But that’s me.
I think going 5/8 for a + grade was great. In my opinion the + grade is just a gimmick designed to generate more revenue.
I'd like to hear the arguments for why the five coins received a +, and why the other three didn't. That being said, those are beautiful coins!
What a great group of half dollars-
No, Cert #s stay the same so resticker is automatic.

It absolutely deserved a plus!
Congrats @EDL !

@EDL “No, Cert #s stay the same so resticker is automatic.”
But… the grades have changed… I thought a resticker only applied if grades stayed the same
CAC does not recognize plus grades. So technically the grade stays the same. Guaranteeing the resticker.

Beautiful busties @EDL, and all well deserving of their pluses!
You should def resubmit that 1803. It has CRAZY eye appeal and is also so deserving IMO. I did this on my avatar and got the plus on my second submission.
