Nice card! Just curious, what grade were you expecting on the PSA regrade? It looks pretty flawless. Maybe bottom right corner not a 10?

  • i was hoping for a 9 as many people say KSA grades 2 points lower than PSA . I believe PSA 9s depending on the grader could be a 10.

May switch from coins to cards.

Hockey is not a bad place to begin.

  • Did PSA stop grading KSA graded cards? I bought a KSA card from Irishosta on Ebay to be graded by PSA. The card showed up at my house ungraded by PSA. I was told PSA does not grade KSA graded cards anymore. Why send the card to me? Lots of crap dealing with Ebay sellers lately.

It sounds like you're confused here about how the eBay authenticity guarantee program works. I suggest that you do a little research to flesh out a basic understanding.

If I'm understanding this correctly it sounds, as the above poster mentioned, that you are referring to the Ebay authenticity guarantee? This covers purchases of 250 dollars or more and is a process that is sent to a 3rd party authenticator to verify the authenticity of the product (card). This is not a grading process. I have pasted a paragraph to help explain this process. Hope this helps.

How does the Authenticity Guarantee process work?

Let’s say you bought a 2003 Topps LeBron James card for $750. After you purchase, the card then begins its journey – no questions asked. (Every service-eligible card will have an “Authenticity Guarantee” label, including a blue checkmark.) Your ’03 Topps is sent to a team of third-party authenticators at Certified Collectibles Group – including its affiliates, CGC Trading Cards and Certified Sports Guaranty (CSG) – for a comprehensive, multi-point physical inspection. The authenticators reference an extensive database, inspect the overall condition and general quality of the card, and check it against the listing description to ensure accuracy and authenticity. If everything looks good with the inspection, the LeBron James card will receive an attached e-tag featuring a unique QR code on the cards protective packaging before being shipped directly to you. Scan the QR code on any mobile device to learn more about the card and its authentication journey.

If you wanted to take this KSA graded card and get it PSA graded, you would need to send it to PSA on your own dime under the PSA crossover grading service. Good luck.

    Crossover
Crossover grading is for cards previously graded by other companies that you wish to cross over into a PSA holder. PSA will evaluate the card inside its current holder. If PSA deems the card worthy to cross over at the customer’s specified minimum grade or higher, the card will be removed from its holder and placed into a PSA holder. Regardless of the result, the grading price will be charged.

There are other third-party grading companies out there, but just one industry leader. We offer our crossover service for collectors who would like to enhance the security and elevate the value of their previously authenticated and graded trading cards. Switching to the most respected and premium brand, PSA, can do just that.

Then what you asked wouldn't make any sense as PSA does not offer an option to grade, graded cards through eBay. If it was in a KSA slab the seller would have had to list it incorrectly to get that option.

This option of PSA grading after the card goes through the eBay authenticity guarantee program is available for raw, non-autographed trading cards priced at $250+.

I wasn't trying to be rude, but it was your first ever post, and it is a bit confusing. Pardon me, but, a KSA graded and slabbed card would not be eligible to be graded by PSA when purchased through eBay. It also isn't eligible for the guarantee program and would just be shipped onto you.
