A better world coins forum?

This is a great forum is US coins. No disrespect to our hosts, but the "World & Ancient" section doesn't seem to get much traffic. Anyone know of a good, more active forum for non-US coins?

Forums-wise and English-speaking I would say cointalk is more active when it comes to world coins. There are also a number of discord channels and some large instagram and facebook group chats. Reddit has a strong following on r/coins but that's US-heavy. For world coins there are also niche forums covering specific subjects that might be considered more active than this forums, but it all depends on what you're looking for.

Instagram is fine but is picture oriented by its nature. Reddit has like 2 good world coin posts a month and a metric ton of of fake 1795 dollars, circulating US quarters, and blurry pictures. The posts are relatively infrequent here in comparison but of very high quality thanks to the likes of @TwoKopeiki and many others.
Numisforums.com for ancients and some world. World depends on what exactly. Coincommunity.com has more posters for certain areas. There are several Facebook groups too of varying quality.

Good point. I enjoy seeing world coins in general, but my niche area would French gold coins from the 19th century.
I also don't mind if the forum is in a non-English language. All the translation tools that are now available make it easy to interact.
Coin Community has a world coins forum and some separate for Canada, Australia, etc. Coin Talk is similar. FORVM ancient coins is good if you are interested in older coins.
Numista forums may interest you. The founder of the site is French and there are french language subforums.
No matter the forum I'm often surprised by the expertise that comes out of the woodwork.
Thank you!
Try as I might I just cannot set up an account on CoinTalk. I tried restoring an old account from 14 years ago that I made with an old email address but no dice.
It’s a shame because I feel like message boards are an endangered species, and I’ve gotten a lot out of them. My photography career wouldn’t have started without this message board. I met my wife through another message board.
One of the other forums I frequent has been shut down for years, but is now very active via Slack.

I was so eager, a few years ago, to talk to 7jaguars on CoinTalk that I sent him a few messages in a row and I got banned. Since then, I cannot get back in there, oh well..
Wow you are always ok in my book - I am not that type of poster. Did you try moderator who is on here. Lordmarcovan?-
And Cointalk needs some energy renewal in some of the areas...
Well, just Love coins, period.
Definitely agree! Been there since 2015!

Thank you for the kind words, I have no idea what caused the ban, it is probably set to recognize as spam when somebody is sending messages repeatedly to the same person in a short period of time I guess. I did not try to contact a moderator but maybe I will. I need to check again and if I fail, I will contact Lordmarcovan.
I think it would be cool to have a “Post your new purchases” thread over here in the World forum. Perhaps one already exists and is just buried. I haven’t seen one yet.
No particular theme necessary other than newly acquired world coins of any type.
Just my 2 centavos. Maybe I’ll start one up myself when I make my next purchase 🤔.
I feel like I have tried this approach and while I've got engagement it doesn't seem to cause collectors to appear with my shared interests. I like this forum more than others but haven't found a lot of success myself outside of here and Discord.

This would be great! Get us started please!
You are the one who thinks the forum is too inactive, yet you refuse to start the post? Or any informative post, for that matter.
